The Tuscan experience
Some people say that Tuscany is a beautiful region to visit, that there is a lot of history and tradition, but there is little to do.
We do not quite agree with this last assertion and this is the reason for this travel guide and event listing.
Tuscany is a quite place for living and spending lovely holidays. A unique countryside with gentle hills for walking, trekking, biking and to go on horseback; beautiful seaside with a choice of sandy beaches, cliffs and tourist harbours; large and welcoming cities with pieces of art in every corner; little and unspotted towns where it looks like time is not passing at all.
But most of all there are plenty of festivals, shows, music events and celebrations in every little town, all year round, usually accompanied by fine food and good wine which is a must all over Italy.
Spotting these events and taking the most out of them will make the difference between making a holiday and having a Tuscan experience. Because Tuscany is an emotion, well worth living if you have the chance.
